Collegiate Ministry Graduate Missionary University of Tennessee Baptist Collegiate Ministry
Are you looking for an opportunity to grow personally, spiritually, and relationally? Curious to know what daily ministry looks like? Looking for some practical ministry experience before you make a long term ministry decision? If so, the University of Tennessee Knoxville BCM Graduate Assistantship might be for you.
This ministry opportunity is designed to provide you the opportunity to learn from and minister alongside seasoned campus ministers. It will expose you to all areas of ministry: building into the lives of students, leading small groups, working with international students, planning ministry events, and more. The UT BCM has been a thriving ministry since 1937. BCM serves UT through weekly evangelism engagement and the community through our LOVE KNOXVILLE week. Life groups were launched during the past few years and are alive and growing. Our weekly worship on Thursday nights, TNT, reaches around 175 students. Financial stipend can be discussed after further consultation with the BCM. Minimum Requirement: Ability to commit ten months, bachelor’s degree, and some experience in Baptist Collegiate Ministry. Preferred experience: Time spent serving in missions, local and abroad. Experience teaching Bible studies and leading discipleship groups.
