There are tons of great ways to stay involved with the ministry you loved in your collegiate days! Here are just a few examples of how you can help BCM on a one term basis.
Fall / Spring Cleaning – windows, dusting, kitchen stove, cabinets, organizing spaces, etc. Monday Meals – Can your group provide food for our Soul Food Cafe one week? A great Sunday School Class project. Internationals - Provide a meal for international students and show them hospitality! Invite them over to your home! Mission Trips – provide funds for a student to participate on Spring Mission Trip ($325) For additional information, contact: Samm Hawes, [email protected], (865) 546-8272 |
A few good folks wanted for volunteer positions at the BCM.
Building Maintenance- BCM has a large facility that needs regular maintenance to stay in shape. We could use someone that will check on the building, change filters, light bulbs, and alert the BCM staff to potential repairs or hazards. Time commitment would be approximately one half day per month. Lawn Service – BCM has a beautiful landscape on the front of our building that we would love a volunteer to adopt as a ministry. This person would mow the lawn once a week and take care of maintaining the bushes, trimming, leave raking and the general appearance of the outside of the BCM. Mission Trip Drivers - Every year BCM takes several trips for retreats and mission projects, this often involves needing drivers that are over the age of 25. That presents a problem as most students are 18 to 21. If you love students, have a good driving record and would like to volunteer to take them on mission trips or even weekend retreats please let us put you on the BCM volunteer driver list! For additional information, contact: Rodney Norvell, [email protected], (865) 546-8272 We are grateful to Tennessee Baptist Churches giving faithfully through the Cooperative Program and the Golden Offering for Tennessee Missions. These gifts fund our campus ministers and the BCM student center, both of which are foundational to our ministry. However additional gifts from local churches, the Chilhowee, Clinton, and Knox Baptist Association, parents, alumni and students are imperative for funding additional ministry on our campus. Thank you for your support and prayers! |
